Darius Heads, Assoc. AIA, LEED Green Assoc. is a Texas Native, born and raised in Houston. Being a 4th generation carpenter, he was immersed in all things design and construction from a very early age. His father, owner of Heads Custom Builders, is a master carpenter who he worked under as an apprentice growing up.
Darius received his master’s degree in Architecture from Prairie View A&M University in 2009. After grad school, he relocated to the Austin area in pursuit of a career in design and construction project management. He gained experience working on a variety of commercial construction projects ranging from remodel and maintenance for municipalities throughout the state of Texas, to large scale, new construction including but not limited to fire stations, churches, nursing homes, assisted livings and Alzheimer’s/memory care facilities.
In the spring of 2014 Darius formed HCB Designs. Focusing mainly on residential design, remodels, additions, new construction, home repair and maintenance. With emphasis placed heavily on integrity, strong attention to detail and quality performance; HCB Designs top priority is customer satisfaction.
