A complete design-build engagement: HCB evaluated the existing condition, developed the design solution, coordinated the work, and self-performed the construction with its own crews.
The project began with the existing kitchen as it stood — its layout, its limits, and what the homeowners wanted it to do instead. That evaluation drove the design rather than a predetermined look.
HCB carried the same thinking through construction. As designer and general contractor, decisions made on the drawings were the decisions carried out on site, with HCB's own crews performing the work and coordinating the trades.
